What Size Hole Saw For 2 Inch Pvc

What size hole saws do I need for i" and 3/4" PVC connectors. The info that I accept is for ridged, EMT and other conduits. Nothing on PVC. Since the connectors take the aforementioned locknut, I assume the ridged or EMT would be the aforementioned. BUT, they are not. (equally far as the table say'southward) Merely don't become it.

Don: do you like the holcutter better than a unibit?
Can they exist sharpened?
I take had unibits sharpened with expert results.

You still have to drill to use the KO fix. It is faster for the smaller holes to just utilise the holecutter and exist done with it. (at least in my experience)

A lot of times when I am making holes it is an energized panel. I accept the guys deenergize equally much as possible but in some cases I will nonetheless have feeders coming in that the poco would accept to kill. So as minimal shavings as possible.

But I practise like the looks of them holecutters I might buy some to try on other applications:smile:

Yeah, that is true. That is mostly due to the fact that I have not posted any links in this thread so far.

EDIT... simply dawned on me that at that place'south two of us with the same proper noun in this thread. Maybe that's where we got mixed up. I was but throwing in that C-frame idea, in case somebody plant it useful. It is a somewhat obscure slice of equipment that I'm certain many have not used. It sure is handy.

Yes there are to marks posting in this thread. But you lot (Marc) were answering just fine. LOL I know it is non good exercise to work around energized equipment. I am a residential electrician I mostly dial holes in temporary panels for construction trailers. Most of the fourth dimension by the time the trailer is in that location and I have had a trench dug there is a meter a the tpole. I tell my guys we have a no hot policy simply if the have to nosotros take guide lines to go by. The correct PPE must be used.
